The Minister of Health, Dr. Firas Al-Hawari, described the health personnel’s handling of the Corona crisis as the army deals in battle.

During a meeting of the Parliamentary Health Committee, on Wednesday, Al-Hawari said that health cadres move to where the outposts are located and move continuously and are relieved due to pressure, but they are exposed to experiment and their scientific information deepens, thus providing the cadres in the regions

Al-Hawari added that Jordan is one of the first countries to allow the vaccine to be administered to lower age groups against the emerging coronavirus.

The Ministry had developed a strategy based on a balance between citizen health and the continuation of economic life.

He pointed out that "The delta variant entered Jordan on the 14th of last April, and the vaccine limited its spread in the summer" noting that "the numbers of the third wave of corona in Jordan are still less than the numbers of the second wave, and that the percentage of positive tests currently is less than the first and second waves ".

The Minister added that "one of the priorities of the Ministry is to maintain the Face-to-face learning, and we promise that the plans will be based on the adoption of the Face-to-face learning in the second semester."
