Al-Qawasmi said in a press statement, today, that the date of the discounts that will coincide with Black Friday, will start from the twenty-fourth of this month and will continue until the twenty-seventh of this month, to prevent crowds in the markets in order to preserve the health of citizens, and to avoid focusing on one day.

He added that the deal came after a meeting arranged by Jordan's trade at its headquarters, with the sector's merchants and representatives of commercial centers and malls, so that shopping days throughout the Kingdom would be in accordance with the health protocol applied by clothing, shoes and fabric merchants and to avoid crowds.

Al-Qawasmi affirmed that the discounts on clothes, shoes and fabrics will be real and may reach about 70 percent, to enable shoppers to obtain preferential prices and to activate the sales movement at the merchants of the sector, which has been experiencing an unprecedented recession since the beginning of this year.

He explained that the discounts on clothing, shoes and fabrics will include various markets, shop centers and outlet stores spread throughout the Kingdom, noting that shops, companies and owners of brands operating in the local market give these shopping days great importance in terms of providing models and available prices, and providing e-sale and delivery services.

He pointed out that there is a situation of weakness with regard to the activity of the clothing and shoes market despite the entry of the winter season. Noting that this is due to the decline in the purchasing power of citizens, the scarcity of financial flow and the absence of marketing tourism, in addition to the high operating costs on the sector, noting that this is due to the decline in the purchasing power of citizens, the scarcity of financial flow and the absence of marketing tourism, in addition to the high operating costs on the sector.
