The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Thursday condemned ongoing attempts by Yemen's Houthi militia to target civilian areas in Saudi Arabia, including an explosive-rigged drone launch against the Abha International Airport Monday evening, which was intercepted by the coalition forces, leaving some injured and material damage.

In a statement, Ministry spokesperson Haitham Abu Al-Foul underlined Jordan’s strong condemnation and rejection of "such repeated cowardly terrorist acts that target civilian and aim to undermine security, stability and peace."

He also reaffirmed that Jordan stands by " Saudi Arabia in the face of all threats to its security," wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
