Global COVID-19 cases top 100mn

Al-Anbat - The total number of global COVID-19 cases has topped 100.8 million, as of Thursday morning, according to the Johns Hopkins University.

In its latest update, the University revealed that the current global caseload stood at 100,866,000, while the global death toll stood at 2,170,608.

The United States is the worst-hit country with the world’s highest number of cases, followed by India, Brazil, Russia, United Kingdom, France, Spain, Italy, Turkey, Germany, Colombia, Argentina, Mexico, Poland, and South Africa.

According to the website, the US also has the largest number of deaths from the virus, followed by Brazil, India, Mexico, United Kingdom, Italy, and France
