180 radical settlers storm Al-Aqsa compound

Alanbatnews - Some 180 Jewish extremist settlers on Thursday stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque / Haram Al Sharif compound in occupied Jerusalem, a Palestinian source confirmed.

In a statement to "Petra" reporter here, General Director of the Islamic Awqaf and Al-Aqsa Affairs, Sheikh Azzam Al-Khatib, said the settlers carried out the raid from Al- Magharebah Gate under intensive protection of Israeli special forces.

The settlers "provocatively" toured the mosque's courtyards and performed their Tulmodic rites amid a state of anger among Muslim worshipers, Al-Khatib added.
