5 injured in two-vehicle collision in Irbid

 Five people sustained various cuts and bruises in a two-vehicle collision in Al Taibah area in Irbid Governorate, some 80km north of Amman, the Civil Defense Department (CDD) media office said in a statement on Tuesday.

East Irbid's rescue teams rushed to the scene, administered first aid to the injured and evacuated them to the Prince Rashid Military Hospital and Princess Basma Educational Hospital, the statement added.

The injured were listed in moderate condition, it further said.
