White House national security adviser, John Bolton, said on Sunday that conversations are going on between members of the National Assembly and members of the military in Venezuela; about how they might move to support the opposition.

In an interview with ABC news, Bolton said that there are countless conversations about what might come, and both parties are not going to broadcast .

Bolton's announcement came as thousands of Brazilians are protesting against Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, along with a major power outage leaving Caracas and most of the country's cities in darkness for four days.

Meanwhile, many Venezuelans continue to support Maduro in his ongoing fight against what he calls US imperialism.

Maduro said the country's complete electrical failure has been caused by "an international cyber-attack" that took place at Venezuela's main hydroelectric power station in Guri in the southern state of Bolivar, which provides about 70% of the country's energy.
