Pakistani Embassy celebrates Defence Day

 Al-Anbat -The Pakistani Embassy in Amman held a reception on the occasion of Defence Day on Monday.

Pakistani Ambassador to Jordan Junaid Rehmat praised the high level of cooperation between the defence forces of Jordan and Pakistan. "The present focus of cooperation between the two armed forces is defined by high level of training collaboration and exchange of high level delegations," he added. 

The ambassador pointed to the recent successful visit of General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff Pakistan to Jordan, during which His Majesty King Abdullah II conferred upon him the Order of the Military Merit of the First Degree that added a new chapter to the enhanced level of cooperation between the two countries.

Pakistan's military attache in Amman also made remarks during which he highlighted the strong ties between the armed forced of Jordan and Pakistan that are based on mutual respect, confidence and close cooperation.

Pakistan Armed Forces celebrate the Defence Day to recall the gallant actions of brave men in uniform and countless sacrifices of martyrs who laid their lives for the supreme cause of defending Pakistan.
