Al-Anbat has recently received repeated complaints of the existence of "worm" in rice bags that sold in the local Jordanian markets, under the names of well-known rice varieties and highly popular among the citizens, while the Alanbat reserve their names.
Alanbat also monitored the citizens' complaints and confirmed their authenticity by taking a private video of the documenting the health of what they had received, and showing the presence of licorice in one of the closed rice bags, proving the same situation inside a bag of rice of different quality purchased from different places.
The Food and Drug Administration, after communicating with them, initially attributed the reason for the existence of such a problem in the rice bags to the poor storage by the shops that sell this article, while the "Alanbat" from the institution to provide an official response to reveal the real cause of the problem.
The Social media websites specially “Facebook” have witnessed which the citizens are concerned about the absence of the relevant regulatory bodies. The situation has been repeated for many years. Publications have seen a great increase in the presence of insects in rice bags.
Alanbat is still waiting for an official response from food and medicine that reveals the real reason for the presence of "worm" in rice, until the problem is addressed. Which Rice is a staple for most Jordanian citizens.
