Tehran was rocked by explosions on Sunday evening, with Iranian state television reporting that its headquarters was targeted. The incident follows a series of powerful blasts that shook the capital.
The state broadcaster, which previously saw its north Tehran headquarters targeted during the twelve-day war in June, stated that its technical team is currently assessing the damages incurred.
Subsequent reports from Iranian state media confirmed that the official television broadcast was disrupted following the attack on its main headquarters.
The series of powerful explosions reverberated across Tehran on Sunday evening. The Iranian news agency ISNA reported that “several” explosions occurred in the eastern and northeastern parts of the city.
The explosions occurred on the second day of reported Israeli-U.S. strikes on Iran.
