Israel is actively working to undermine the Iranian regime and ultimately bring about its downfall by encouraging Iranians to protest, a senior Israeli official stated on Sunday.
The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told Reuters that Israel is operating through “its own means” to motivate Iranian citizens to take to the streets.
The official did not elaborate on the specific methods Israel is employing to incite protests against the Iranian government.
