Strikes near Tehran have reportedly targeted a police station, resulting in casualties, according to Iranian media reports.

The reported attack occurred on Sunday evening on the outskirts of Tehran. While initial reports confirmed casualties, the exact number remains unclear.

According to witnesses cited by Reuters, a hospital in the Gandhi Street area of Tehran was also hit. The hospital reportedly sustained significant damage, and patients were being evacuated.

Tasnim and Mizan news agencies reported that a police station and adjacent residential buildings in the city of Rey were struck. They added that civilians were killed, and others remain under the rubble.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump claimed on his social media platform “Truth Social” that Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed in the strikes. Trump described Khamenei as “one of the most evil people in history,” stating his death represented “justice for the people of Iran, for Americans, and for victims in several countries.”

Trump added that Khamenei “could not escape the intelligence agencies and advanced tracking systems.” He indicated that the operation was carried out “in close coordination with Israel” and that other leaders were “killed with him,” without providing further details.
