European Powers Ready to Curb Iran's Missile Capabilities

Germany, France, and Britain have expressed their readiness to take “proportionate defensive measures” aimed at crippling Iran's ability to launch missiles and drones, according to a joint statement released Sunday.

The leaders of the three European powers conveyed their concern regarding what they described as Iran's “asymmetric and indiscriminate missile attacks on countries in the region,” which they claim are in response to U.S. and Israeli strikes targeting Iran.

The joint statement indicated an agreement to collaborate with the United States and regional allies on addressing the issue.

According to the statement, potential measures could include enabling the implementation of necessary and proportionate defensive actions to dismantle Iran's capacity to launch missiles and drones at their origin.
