Jordanian national team players Ali Alwan and Yazan Al-Naimat have been recognized among the world's leading international goalscorers, according to a ranking released by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS).
Alwan secured 12th place globally, having scored 29 international goals for the national team during the period considered in the ranking. Al-Naimat followed in 19th place with 26 goals.
The ranking reflects the attacking prowess of the Jordanian national team players in various continental and international competitions.
Norwegian Erling Haaland leads the global ranking for the current decade (2021-2030) with 49 international goals for his country. England's Harry Kane is second with 46 goals, while Argentina's Lionel Messi is third with 44 goals.
The presence of Jordanian players in the global ranking highlights the continuous improvement in the national team's attacking efficiency and the growing influence of its players in international competition.
