Jerash Governorate Launches 24/7 Operations Room to Boost Emergency Response

JERASH, Jordan - The Jerash Governorate has inaugurated a round-the-clock operations room to enhance preparedness and ensure swift response to citizens' needs, Governor Malek Khreisat announced on Saturday.

The operations room, headed by the Governor and attended by administrative governors, aims to improve coordination among various relevant agencies, Khreisat stated. He emphasized that security agencies and official institutions are working tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of citizens, protect their property, and maintain uninterrupted public services.

Khreisat highlighted that daily life in the governorate is proceeding normally, and there is no justification for panic buying or stockpiling of supplies. He expressed confidence in the public's awareness and understanding of the current situation and their trust in the measures being taken.

Furthermore, Khreisat urged citizens to obtain information from official and reliable sources and to avoid being swayed by rumors or exaggerations on social media, as these can negatively impact community security. He affirmed that citizens are key partners in the security system and possess a high degree of national responsibility.
