Inter Milan solidified their lead in Serie A with a 2-0 victory over Lecce on Saturday, fueled by late goals from Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Manuel Akanji.

The win extends Inter's lead at the top of the table to 64 points, a comfortable 10 points ahead of AC Milan and 14 points clear of Napoli.

Mkhitaryan broke the deadlock in the 75th minute, capitalizing on poor clearance following a corner. He found space inside the box and fired a close-range shot into the net.

Akanji sealed the victory just seven minutes later, heading home powerfully into the top corner.

Earlier, Inter thought they had taken the lead in the 51st minute when Federico Dimarco struck a powerful shot into the corner after receiving a pass on the edge of the box. However, the celebration was cut short as Marcus Thuram was ruled offside.
