Samsung Unveils New Galaxy S Series with Enhanced Performance

Samsung has officially launched its latest Galaxy S series, featuring advancements in processing power, camera technology, and design.

The unveiling took place at the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event in San Francisco, where the company showcased the Galaxy S26 lineup alongside other new devices.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra boasts a slimmer profile at 7.9mm and a lighter weight of 214 grams, a notable reduction compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which was 0.7mm thicker and 19 grams heavier.

Samsung highlights a significant performance boost from the device's advanced Neural Processing Unit (NPU), claiming a 39% improvement in NPU performance and a 24% enhancement in graphics processing. This upgrade allows for seamless execution of demanding mobile games and applications.

The Ultra variant features a triple-camera system, headlined by a 200-megapixel primary lens and two 50-megapixel lenses.

The Galaxy S26 series is available in three models: the standard Galaxy S26, the Galaxy S26+, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Pricing for the series starts at $900 for the base Galaxy S26 model, $1,099 for the Galaxy S26+, and $1,299 for the Ultra version.
