The Jordanian national boxing team has commenced its training camp in Thailand, marking a crucial phase in their preparation for the upcoming World Boxing Championship for under-19s.
The training camp, which began on Thursday, is specifically designed to hone the skills and conditioning of the athletes before the global competition. The World Boxing Championship is scheduled to take place in Thailand from the 3rd to the 16th of next month.
Overseeing the Jordanian delegation in Thailand is Captain Waleed Jarar. The technical staff includes international coaches Omar Majali, Saif Quraish, and Norma Abu Al-Sondos, along with team doctor Ayyoub Al-Qudah, ensuring comprehensive support for the boxers.
Representing Jordan in the male category are Osama Al-Khaldi (50 kg), Moataz Mashaaleh (55 kg), Wissam Al-Wahidi (60 kg), Abdullah Nart (65 kg), and Anas Basoul (70 kg). These athletes will compete to demonstrate their capabilities on the world stage.
In the female category, Tala Wissam (50 kg) and Marah Eid (48 kg) will represent Jordan, adding to the nation's aspirations for success in the championship.
