Israeli forces conducted multiple raids across the West Bank on Monday, triggering clashes with Palestinians, resulting in injuries and arrests, and the seizure of homes for military use, according to Palestinian media reports.

The Israeli military operations targeted Nablus, Jenin, Hebron, Bethlehem, and Salfit, escalating tensions in the region.

In Jenin, Israeli forces continued their incursion into the town of Yabad since dawn, seizing a three-story house belonging to Mahmoud Issa Atatra and converting it into a military barracks after confining the family to the first floor, residents reported. Snipers were also deployed in the house of Saeed Abu Bakr, with his family held inside. Armored vehicles were deployed around the town. Soldiers also stormed the house of Nazmi Asfour Abu Bakr, home to six families, detaining residents on one floor while soldiers occupied the remaining floors, according to local sources.

Near Salfit, Israeli forces fired live ammunition and tear gas at residents and their vehicles near the iron gate at the entrance to the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, which is usually closed, restricting movement and exacerbating the suffering of residents, locals said.

South of Hebron, Israeli forces arrested Ahmed and Mohammed Ismail Ibrahim al-Adra in Masafer Yatta following an attack by settlers on the areas of Rajoum Aali and Khallet Amira, Palestinian media reported. Habib al-Adra was reportedly beaten by settlers, sustaining bruises and contusions and was transferred to Yatta Governmental Hospital for treatment.

In Nablus, two young men were wounded by live fire in the thigh during a raid on the Old Askar camp east of the city, and were taken to hospital for treatment, medical sources said. Others were reportedly injured in beatings, including journalist Mahmoud Fawzi, who was detained for several hours. Israeli forces raided several houses in the camp, searched them, tampered with their contents, and conducted field investigations after detaining residents, according to local sources.

In Bethlehem, Israeli forces stormed the town of Nahalin west of the city, deploying in the Sabiha, Al-Mahjar, and central areas. They raided and searched houses without making arrests, and fired sound and gas bombs, Palestinian media reported. Military checkpoints were erected as the town experienced repeated incursions for the second day.

Additionally, Israeli forces set up a military checkpoint on the Jenin-Nablus road near the entrances to the towns of Ajjah and Jaba, disrupting traffic and checking the identities of citizens. Israeli bulldozers continued to construct a road below the “Tarsala” site between Jaba and Ajjah, following the Israeli government’s approval of the return of settlers to it, according to Palestinian sources.
