BYD's Sales Reach 4.6 Million in 2025

* 1.05 Million Exports for the Same Year

The global Chinese automaker BYD announced strong performance in new energy vehicle sales during 2025, setting record figures that reflect the company's rapid growth in both domestic and international markets.

According to a company statement, annual sales of new energy vehicles reached approximately 4,602,436 units, while sales of new energy passenger cars alone reached 4,545,423 units during the year.

On the export front, the company achieved a remarkable leap, with total exports of passenger cars and light trucks reaching approximately 1,049,601 units, registering strong year-on-year growth of 145%, reflecting the rapid expansion of the BYD brand in overseas markets.

In December 2025, sales of new energy vehicles reached approximately 420,398 units, including 414,784 new energy passenger vehicles. Exports during the same month totaled 132,837 units of passenger cars and light trucks.

These results reaffirm BYD's leading position in the global new energy vehicle sector, driven by the growing demand for sustainable transportation solutions and its expansion strategy in international markets.
