Transit travelers across Saudi Arabia perform Umrah Ramadan for free 


Saudi Arabia has allowed those who want to perform the Ramadan Umrah from transit travelers via Saudi Airlines and Flynas to obtain a free transit visa to perform Umrah rituals by registering on the " Nusk” platform launched by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah launched in partnership with the Saudi Tourism Authority, this is for the first time since the announcement of the new transit visa, which is applied for the first time this year and allows entry into Saudi territory for a period  of 4 days, and it can be obtained 90 days before travel. 

The registration process for this program has witnessed a high turnout according to the Saudi Ministry of Hajj, and as a part of the facilities that Saudi Arabia provided to tourists and transit travelers from various countries of the world throughout the year and it allows visitors to come to perform Umrah and visit Medina and enjoy its various destinations and various tourism components. 

Saudi Arabia also allowed access to its territory for GCC residents by obtaining a visit visa electronically without requiring specific professions in addition to the tourist visa system launched in September 2019 ,and then the personal and family visit visa that was announced last year. 

The transit visa made a qualitative shift in tourism traffic in Saudi Arabia and allowed passengers on Suadi Airlines to enter the kingdom and stay for up to four days, visit tourist attractions, attend events, and perform Umrah rituals during their stop at a Saudi airport before reaching their final destination.

The Unified National Visa Platform also allowed Saudi citizens to issue a " Personal Visitor Visa” for their friends through its website visa.mofa.gov.sa, and enables citizens and residents wishing to host relatives from the issuance of the " Family Visitor Visa”. 

The various options available for obtaining a visa to visit Saudi Arabia come in order to make it easier for larger segments of visitors to come to the kingdom and perform Umrah rituals outside the Hajj season, or visit different tourist destinations and attend events and learn about the hospitality of Saudi society and its good reception of guests, its habits and authentic traditions. 

The recent facilities taken by the Saudi authorities have allowed it to enjoy a distinguished position as a tourist destination that represents a new tourist treasure that has not yet been discovered in the world, as well as an emerging tourist destination internationally and regionally, due to the tremendous heritage and cultural diversity it offers, and the charming nature it enjoys, in addition to the momentum One of the major events that qualify it to redraw the tourism map in the region and the world.
