The workshop was opened by the Commissioner of Youth and Entrepreneurship, Ramzi Al-Kabariti, who stressed during his opening speech the constructive role played by young people in this field, especially small and medium enterprises, which provide real job opportunities, pointing out that the authority, through the plan of the Youth and Entrepreneurship Commission, is working to build the capacities and empower young people and help them establish their entrepreneurial projects and provide new job opportunities for young people.
The participants in the workshop, organized by the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, discussed the reality of entrepreneurship locally and internationally and the world of entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity, in addition to urging young people to enter the labor market armed with skill and science, open their own projects and anticipate the future in order to be responsible and stay away from the government job.
For his part, the lecturer in the course, Dr. Bilal Mahmoud Al-Wadyan, said that Jordan has great minds in many fields, and they are growing in schools, universities and companies, and for this we need to amend laws and legislation in order to serve the interest of the entrepreneur, because the entrepreneur's access to a guarantee to operate his entrepreneurial project with obtaining appropriate funding, registering patents and guaranteeing his intellectual rights will make him modify the issue of immigration.
He indicated out that business incubators are part of entrepreneurship in Jordan, which now includes more than 230 entities, where those working in the entrepreneurship system need more structuring, sorting, development and skills, especially ,business incubators, business accelerators and business platforms, these three things need to be developed in terms of infrastructure.
