Japan's Nikkei index closed at its lowest level in more than a month

Japan's Nikkei closed On Friday at its lowest level in more than a month, tracking sharp declines on Wall Street overnight as decisions by major central banks to raise interest rates stoked fears of an economic slowdown.

The Nikkei ended trading down by 1.87 percent recording 27,527.12 points,which is the lowest closing level since November 10, and the index continued its losses and recorded the largest decline in a day since October 11, and for the whole week the index fell 1.3 percent, according to CNBC.

The broader Topix index fell 1.2 percent recording 1950.21 and fell 0.5 percent for the week.
