Emirates has announced an investment of more than US $2
billion to enhance its customers' onboard experience.
According to a press release on Wednesday, the company's
investments will include the implementation of a massive program from this
August to upgrade interior designs of more than 120 aircraft, and the
implementation of improvements to other services in all cabins.
Emirates President Tim Clark said Emirates was moving
forward and investing to provide better experiences for its customers, noting
that during the pandemic the company continued to launch new services and
initiatives to ensure that its customers travel with confidence and ease, and
digital initiatives to improve customer experiences on the ground.
The company is launching a series of intensive programs to
take Emirates airline experiences to a higher level.
Initiatives include better meal options, a wholly new vegan
menu, an aerial cinema experience, upgrading aircraft booths, sustainable
options and a holistic approach to introducing small touches that make travel
an unforgettable experience.
