The number of passengers through the port of Aqaba recorded increase during the first half of this year by 150 percent, compared to the same period last year.

The Secretary-General of the Jordan Shipping Syndicate, Captain Muhammad Al-Dalabih, told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) on Wednesday that the number of passengers during the first half of this year reached 112777, compared to 45,000 passengers for the same period last year.

Al-Dalabih attributed the growing number of travelers to the return of travel to normal after the Arab Bridge Company resumed passenger transport last year, which was reinforced by the easing of Corona restrictions.
