Lawmakers hail Labor Ministry for working to reduce unemployment
The Lower House of Parliament's Committee on Water, Agriculture and Badia on Thursday hailed decisions taken by the Labor Ministry to create more job opportunities and reduce unemployment rates among Jordanian youth.
In a statement, Chairman of the Committee, MP Khalid Al-Hiyari, said the ministry's measures, including controlling and regulating the labor market, cracking down on illegal workers, and closing some professions to foreign labor, had left a positive impact on the Kingdom's labor market.
