Five people sustained various injuries in a traffic accident that involved two vehicles at Qimim Bridge area in the northern governorate of Irbid, official sources said Monday. 

Civil Defense said in a statement that its cadres rushed to the scene administered first aid to the injured before transferring them to Prince Rashid Military Hospital.

"The injured conditions varied between good and fair," the statement added.
