Jordanian Charity Provides Food Aid to Palestinian Refugees for Ramadan

AMMAN - The Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization is distributing food packages to Palestinian refugee families as part of its annual “Ramadan with Goodness 2026” campaign, reinforcing social protection measures during the holy month.

The initiative, supported by Ummah Welfare Trust, targets refugee families in the Hattin, Sukhna, and Zarqa camps, according to the charity. The distribution is part of a broader humanitarian partnership aimed at enhancing organized responses and expanding reach to vulnerable groups.

The aid aims to alleviate the burdens on beneficiary families during Ramadan. The charity emphasized the importance of such programs in light of current economic challenges.

The “Ramadan with Goodness 2026” campaign is being implemented across two tracks: one focuses on initiatives within Jordan, and the other is dedicated to supporting those in Gaza.

Within Jordan, the campaign concentrates on providing food parcels to disadvantaged families and refugee communities across various governorates. This effort seeks to ease living pressures and ensure food assistance reaches those most in need during the month of Ramadan, the charity said, adding that distribution mechanisms are in place to guarantee fairness and human dignity.
