Report: U.S. and Israel Target Iranian Sites Amid Escalating Tensions

U.S. and Israeli forces have reportedly struck thousands of targets within Iran, according to sources familiar with the matter, as tensions in the region continue to escalate.

The strikes, which have targeted a range of locations, come amid heightened rhetoric and ongoing geopolitical friction.

The U.S. military's Central Command has confirmed that it has engaged over a thousand targets inside Iran as part of the ongoing operation. The specific nature of these targets was not immediately disclosed.

Iranian state media reported that the state broadcaster was hit following a series of powerful explosions that rocked Tehran. Earlier, the broadcast authority had stated its technical team was assessing damages.

Official Iranian news outlets later reported that the state television broadcast was interrupted after its headquarters sustained damage.

A series of strong explosions reverberated across Tehran late Sunday, with the Iranian news agency ISNA reporting multiple blasts in the eastern and northeastern parts of the capital.

Iranian media also reported that the Gandhi Hospital in northern Tehran was struck in an airstrike, with ISNA attributing the attack to “Zionist-American” forces. Footage purportedly from inside the facility showed debris scattered on the floor.

Additionally, Iranian news outlets reported that a police station on the outskirts of Tehran was targeted, with reports indicating casualties trapped under the rubble. Tasnim, Mizan, and Shargh newspaper reported that the police station and nearby residential buildings were hit, resulting in civilian casualties.

The exact number of casualties remains unclear.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military has stated that its forces have destroyed missile launch platforms capable of firing dozens of rockets simultaneously.

An Israeli military spokesperson added that the army had attacked the headquarters of Iran's internal security forces, emphasizing that Israel is deepening its strikes inside Iran and targeting key regime assets.

U.S. President Donald Trump commented that his country had achieved several positive outcomes in Iran, including the elimination of what he described as a group of killers.
