Jordan Extends Environmental Project Funding Applications Deadline

AMMAN - Jordan's Ministry of Environment has extended the deadline for applications to its Environmental Protection Fund projects until March 31, aiming to encourage broader participation in the program.

The fund supports environmental projects that bolster food security, promote environmentally friendly production, conserve ecosystems, facilitate water harvesting, and expand green spaces, according to the ministry.

The initiative prioritizes empowering youth and women in rural areas through environmentally focused projects.

The ministry stated that the fund will contribute up to 10,000 dinars per project, with a maximum of five projects supported in each region (North, Central, and South).

Interested parties are encouraged to review the terms, conditions, and guidelines available on the ministry's website.
