Iran Accuses U.S. and Israel of Attack on Natanz Nuclear Site

Iran has accused the United States and Israel of attacking its Natanz nuclear site on Sunday, marking the latest escalation in a period of heightened regional tensions.

Mohammad Eslami, the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, stated in a message carried by the state news agency IRNA that the U.S. and Israel, continuing their aggression, targeted the Natanz nuclear site again on Sunday afternoon in two brutal attacks.

However, Rafael Grossi, the director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), offered a contrasting view on Monday. He stated that there is no indication that Iranian nuclear facilities had been targeted since the beginning of the reported U.S.-Israeli offensive on Iran, which allegedly commenced on Saturday.

According to reports, Israel and the United States have been conducting airstrikes on Iran since Saturday, which purportedly resulted in the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. In response, Tehran has allegedly retaliated by launching missiles and drones against Israel and other countries in the region.
