Jordanian football star Mousa Al-Tamari has been recognized by FIFA as one of the top Asian players poised to shine at the 2026 World Cup, to be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

FIFA's official report highlighted Al-Tamari's exceptional performances and significant contributions in leading the Jordanian national team to a historic World Cup qualification. His pivotal role in the team's journey to the final of the recent Asian Cup was also noted.

The report praised Al-Tamari's remarkable speed and his ability to score from long range, assets that make him a valuable asset for Jordan in their first-ever World Cup appearance.

Al-Tamari is joined on the list by other prominent players, including Saudi Arabia's Salem Al-Dawsari, Qatar's Akram Afif, South Korea's Son Heung-min, and Japan's Takefusa Kubo.

This selection further elevates Jordanian football on the global stage and spotlights Al-Tamari's talent. He is also the first Jordanian player to play professionally in the French league.
