Amman - Jordan 12/11//2020: During the past decade, A.R.E.A has emerged as one of the first companies specialized in building and developing advanced mobile applications. Using the latest technologies as well as the vast experience of our team, A.R.E.A works to create and launch the latest and largest number of applications to different kinds of platforms, providing the latest programming, development, and marketing techniques for different services and products to achieve creative results. The company has emerged particularly after the launch of the WININ application, which is considered the first Arabic application for augmented reality allowing users the opportunity to win special prizes by downloading the application and selecting between a wide variety of 30 brands.

In a lively conversation with Mrs. Dabia Ebbini, CEO of A.R.E.A, we talked about the company, the WININ application, as well as their short-term future plans.

First of all, how did the idea of the application WININ come about?

In A.R.E.A, we realize the immense importance of today’s global virtual advertisement industry. And our idea of the application stemmed from the concept of building a new virtual advertising environment around players aiming to revolutionize the field of marketing and advertising.

Have you encountered any difficulty in implementing the WININ application?

Certainly, WININ as an application is a collection of different ideas that can be difficult to collect in one place, but with the efforts of our team, we ultimately reached our goal in building an application for smartphones that can be considered a new advertising medium. We succeeded in being the first to integrate the advertisement industry into the digital world by implementing the technology of augmented reality in the right place.

In your opinion, did the application achieve its expected success?

Of course, our statistics and numbers show that the application is spreading steadily in the countries in which it was launched; achieving an excellent number of downloads and receiving positive customer reviews that prove that we are on the right track.

Are there any future intentions to create applications similar to the idea of WININ?

Augmented reality can be considered a world in itself, and we were honored to have WININ be considered the first application in the Arab world to use augmented reality technology. Therefore, we seek to launch a group of new applications with different and various ideas and integrate them with the latest technologies to keep pace with the current digital world development.

Why does A.R.E.A rely on digital advertising and integrating augmented reality technology in its applications?

Our reliance on interactive augmented reality (AR) advertisements is due to the fact that it is one of the many technology-based tools that have accelerated over the past few years as well as our special interest in the rapidly developing digital economy.

Has the Covid-19 pandemic played a role in the success of interactive augmented reality advertisements?

Definitely, many international companies have used these advertisements during the pandemic period and maintained running their businesses seamlessly. They provided their customers the opportunity to see their products and services in a fun and enjoyable way as if they are seeing them in real life, which contributed to their success and the rapid spread of these kinds of advertisements.

Do interactive augmented reality advertisements achieve their intended results?

Of course, global research indicates that global augmented reality advertising revenues will grow from $1.41 billion in 2020 to $8 billion in 2024, and studies have also shown that advertisers who invest in AR ads in the MENA region are already making profit.

In conclusion, tell us about the company's future goals, what does A.R.E.A strive to achieve in the upcoming period?

During the upcoming period, we aspire to launch a group of applications that meet the needs of customers and users in an easy and enjoyable way by integrating them with augmented reality technology. There is a group of applications that will be launched soon, and we are aiming to reach the same level of success that the WININ application achieved upon its launch.
