His Majesty King Abdullah II on Tuesday patronized celebrations of Christmas and the New Year by churches, which was held at the Al-Hussein Cultural Center.

Attended by the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and HRH Crown Prince Hussein, the celebrations, which were organized by the Council of the Heads of Churches in the Kingdom, brought together heads of Churches in Jerusalem and Jordan, as well as representatives of Islamic endowments. 

Christian dignitaries, officials and public figures also attended.

His Majesty wished Christians in Jordan, Palestine and the Arab world a happy Christmas.
