The Director of Examinations Department at the Ministry of Education, Dr. Nawaf Al-Ajrama, confirmed In an exclusive interview with Al-Anbat that the ministry has no intention of retracting the decision of the "Tawjihi" secondary school system for 2019.  Al-Ajarma denied in his speech what is being discussed about revising the system of one session. He pointed out that the ministry is moving ahead with its implementation in 2019. Education is considering the idea of ​​dividing the subject into two sessions rather than one session and this will be announced later. 

The Ministry of Education, for its part, confirmed that it is too early to talk about any details on the schedule of the general secondary school certificate for regular students for the next summer session, which is expected to be held after the middle of June next year 2019.

 

The spokesman for the ministry, Walid al-Jallad, said that the General Examination Board in the Ministry of Education has not yet decided the duration of the examination sessions and the time intervals between them, as well as the date of the examination sessions. The Council of Education has approved earlier the general secondary school examination exam on one exam session starting from the current academic year 2019/2018, instead of two sessions,the student submits the examination, under resolution , to 8 questions, of which only seven are included in the calculation of the student's total. It is noteworthy that about 50 students of the applicants for the summer session 2019, carried out on Tuesday, a pause in front of the Ministry of Education, demanding the reconsideration of the decision to convert Tawjihi to one session instead of two sessions.

And considered that the one session would disappoint their hopes and make it difficult to pass the stage successfully, calling through social networking platforms, "social media" the need to hold a referendum on the fate of the orientation in terms of the number of sessions,And the implementation of the desire of the majority, which is likely to continue to work in the system of the sessions, according to some students.
