Where did the recommendations of the Jordanian expatriates conference arrive ?

The Jordanian expatriate has not felt anything on the ground since the conference on expatriates for those who are  living abroad in 2015,Despite the recommendations made by the participants in this, which carried the slogan "Jordan brings us together".

One of the recommendations of the conference was the preparation of an integrated national economic and social road map, the development of a legislative environment that stimulates growth and attracting investments, highlighting the features of the Jordan Vision 2025 document,The recommendations also called for the rapid implementation of these initiatives, and the promotion of the environment attractive to investment and investors to see it in practice and on the ground,And the formulation of appropriate financial and banking legislation and policies that increase the competitiveness of the national economy and achieve sustainable development, and contribute to attracting expatriate funds to invest in the Kingdom.

It also called on the Jordanian recommendations abroad to invest in their homeland, to familiarize them with the available investment opportunities systematically and continuously, and to promote the safe investment environment in Jordan, and the privileges and incentives provided to investors,Referring to the free trade agreements that Jordan has with other countries which open the door to Jordanian exports and the fair judicial system.

And called for overcoming any obstacles  that may face Jordanian investors and other nationalities, and provide incentives to attract and attract investment, and facilitate the registration procedures of new companies,Facilitating the registration of new companies,  the single window service and strengthening the partnership between the public and private sectors, and the participation of representatives of the private sector in providing ideas and opinions on draft laws related to investment,And the participation of representatives of the private sector in providing ideas and opinions on the draft laws related to investment, and promotion of Jordanian products through Jordanian missions abroad and expatriates, and the opening of new markets for Jordanian products.

The recommendations suggested the establishment of an investment fund, holding companies and other projects as investment tools to attract their savings and provide collective investment opportunities that will benefit them and contribute to the service of development and the national economy.

AlAnbat in its turn  asked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs to inquire about the reason for not implementing any of these recommendations, but the Ministry did not respond to these inquiries
