Arab Monetary Fund: The market value of Arab stock exchanges exceeded $4 trillion

The Arab Monetary Fund revealed that the market value of Arab stock exchanges reached more than $4 trillion at the end of last year 2022.

The fund stated, in its monthly bulletin of Arab financial markets, which monitors 13 Arab stock exchanges, that the market value of Arab stock exchanges recorded a decline of about 2.86 percent, to reach about $4057 billion at the end of December 2022 due to the decline in liquidity rates and the decline in foreign investment activity, according to what it said.  Bahrain News Agency on, Friday.

According to the Fund, the decline in the performance indicators of a number of Arab stock exchanges came in line with the declines recorded in most of the global financial markets, and a number of emerging stock exchanges.
