Al-Faqih: Agricultural industries do not operate within a single frame of reference...and chambers of industry do not play their official role

Zakariya al-Faqih, the owner of the Haritna Dairy Company, complained to "Al-Anbat" about the difficulties facing his company's work, most notably;  The lack of milk and its high cost due to the high production inputs for farms, in addition to the high costs of distribution and daily production due to the continuous rise in energy prices, indicating that the chambers of industry do not play their official role in participating in laws, instructions and grants designed to serve the industrial sector despite the new elections, indicating that the programs  Which they release do not provide real benefits to the industry and industrialists in general.

He explained that the agricultural industries do not operate within a single reference, but there are many references affiliated with it, such as the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Drug, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, pointing out that Jordanian products have become non-competitive in price compared to imported products after the approval of the Chamber of Industry to reduce the customs of many items, although the citizen did not touch  The price difference is imported until today.

Al-Faqih called on the concerned authorities to provide care and not protection for the Jordanian industry, so that there would be an information bank that would facilitate their obtaining any information, whether from the chambers of industry or the ministry, stressing the lack of compatibility between the plans of the government and the industrial chambers with the vision of His Majesty the King 2033 because this vision needs a budget of up to 41  One billion in addition to employing one million people, and therefore it needs good economic growth in order to be achieved, indicating that it will only be achieved in the agricultural, industry and tourism sectors, and if there is no clear strategy that determines where the industry will reach in 2033, the vision cannot be implemented.

He mentioned that the Ministry of Agriculture had developed a strategy for Jordanian agriculture, but he wondered about the reason for the absence of representatives of the food industry sector closely linked to agriculture, stressing that no one participated in it, stressing the need to strive to reach food security by all parties and to preserve the current companies and shorten the time, indicating the benefit of applying the method  Manual transactions instead of electronic it is more feasible and fast.

Regarding the recent strikes, al-Faqih explained that the owners are right, but lack a civilized style, stressing that the government is solely responsible for stopping them and finding solutions that satisfy all parties, calling for their solution as soon as possible, because they left negative effects on exports and imports and disturbed the status of the Jordanian economy.
