"Intaj" launches the market study unit

The Association of Information and Communication Technology Companies "Intaj" officially launched the market study unit, which was launched at the conclusion of the work of the Middle East and North Africa Forum for Communications and Information Technology that was held last November.

The association said in a statement on Sunday, that the market study unit aims to shed light on the opportunities available to companies and institutions in the local market and neighboring markets, moving to the markets of the Middle East and North Africa region, and markets that have great opportunities for the work of Jordanian companies to operate in them.

The head of the association managers, Eid Al -Sawis, explained that the unit will work to publish its research and studies through an  electronic platform free  for employees of the "Intaj” association, while a mechanism will be announced to ensure the benefit of startups and non -member companies from these studies.

He pointed out that the study was launched in partnership with the German Development Agency, as it is considered a vital component to enable companies to explore new markets and find the strength and opportunities available in the local and regional market.

He stressed that the unit will work to publish specialized reports on the telecommunications and information technology sector within the local and the neighboring markets, in addition to publishing the list of conferences and events related to information and communications technology from the region and the world, and detailed reports on the market and the sector will be published on technologies or sectors with high and future capabilities such as Cyber ​​security and the use of outsourcing and others.

Al -Sweis indicated that updating the data will be continuous and systematic, as the focus will be on the latest variables in the information and communication technology sector ,while providing service recipients with graphs on information and communication technology and related global trends.

He added, that the unit will not be satisfied with displaying economic data, but will expand to the participation of service recipients with the details of tenders and bids in Jordan  and regional public and private tenders.
