Rise shares price index of Amman Stock Exchange in a week

 The general price index for stocks listed on the Amman Stock Exchange increased by 1.56 percent, to end last week's trading at 2502 points.

  The daily average trading volume on the stock exchange during the past week was about 5.8 million dinars, compared to 3.8 million dinars in the previous week, with an increase of 54.2 percent, while the total weekly trading volume was about 29.2 million dinars, compared to 18.9 million dinars for the previous week.

  As for the number of traded shares recorded by the Stock Exchange during the past week, it amounted to 25.9 million shares, which were executed through 14,548 transactions.
