6.5 million passengers at Queen Alia Airport as of last month

Queen Alia International Airport received 6557424 passengers in the first 10 months of 2022, up 81.15 percent from the same period last year. Travel indicators released by the International Airport Group on Sunday showed 57,389 movements, an increase of 56.45% over last year.

Air cargo traffic reached 51 283 tons, with figures 6.73 percent higher than those achieved during 2021, and 40.03 percent lower than in 2019. During the month of October, the number of passengers travelling through Queen Alia International Airport reached 722,238 with a 33.35% growth compared to the same period last year, and with respect to aircraft traffic. The airport saw 5,926 movements, registering a 15.16% rise over the same month last year. Air cargo traffic was 5,349 tons, marking a decline of 13.62%.
