The media spokesman of the Amman Chamber of Industry, Mohammad Al-Salahat, confirmed to "Al-Anbat" about the financial support program proposed by the Ministry of Industry that it is an important step and a goal that the Chamber of Industry has always sought. It is also considered compensation for the decision to exempt the profits of Jordanian exports.

He indicated that local exports make around 8.5 billion dollars in annual profits, so that it is the most important means of supporting the national economy, because the importing countries will pay the cost of the exported goods in dollars, and these dollars will be transferred to the Central Bank, which in turn will pay the Jordanian factories in the currency of JOD, and this will make us have a hard currency on the one hand and keep the Central Bank on the value of the national currency on the other hand, stressing that the more the exports are, the more job opportunities are.

He called on the government to increase the percentage of national exports, open new markets, and give some facilities with regard to very high shipping charges, in addition to activating the role of economic advisors abroad, which ease the process of market promotion through local industries, indicating that by reducing shipping and energy costs, exports will hugely improve.

In the same context, the Ministry of Industry, in cooperation with institutions, including the Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation, indicated that there is a program to support the industrial sector at a cost of up to 80 million dinars over three years, specifically the exports of this sector.
