Terry Marini, CEO of Orange Jordan, expressed his excitement at the launch of the Innovation Forum, which embodies Orange's commitment as a leading digital provider responsible for promoting digital education by making accessible the resources, technologies, devices, and skills required in the global labor market, supporting the leadership that innovation is one of its most important components, as well as digital inclusion by reaching as many people as possible and emerging entrepreneurs.

The majority of jobs will soon demand sophisticated digital abilities, and more than 90% of jobs around the world already have digital prerequisites. We continue our efforts in digital education to meet this challenge by developing the skills of young men and women in the Kingdom. The World Economic Forum estimates that 1.2 billion people's jobs will drastically change as a result of the adoption of technologies like automation and artificial intelligence. More than half of young people will not have the digital skills needed for the future workforce.

The proposal for the innovation area, according to Shabib Ammari, chairman of the Jordanian Communications Group Orange, was initially motivated by the inventor himself. Noting that innovation has many advantages, such as the creation of a leadership position that helps to reduce unemployment and is not frustrating, young Jordanians do not lack innovation because they have the capacity to innovate and invent and can demonstrate this through real-world experiences both in Jordan and around the world. It's critical that both the public and commercial sectors innovate in order to raise Jordanians' standards of living in addition to lowering unemployment and transforming it into a profitable human being that boosts GDP.

He stated that His Majesty King Abdullah led the leadership sector when he joined the Jordanian telecommunications company as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Through his vision and constant reminder of the existence of a digital divide between Jordan and the developed countries of the world, he had foreseen the future of digitization and technological advancement, which led to the third industrial revolution and then the fourth industrial revolution with artificial intelligence.

In every book mandated by a new government, there is a paragraph that speaks of the importance of developing and educating the people of Jordan, to contribute to the maximum limits of the dissemination of Internet culture. Orange is the pillar and the core part, and the other pillar is the green environment that works on no environmental pollution, working to have clean energy come, so she built Orange is the largest power field of sunshine in Jordan's private sector.

Orange celebrates the Innovation Forum to see the work of Orange, especially for the 5th generation, whose network has been initiated in Jordan, as well as the development using artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and they have an academy to train Jordanians and Jordanians to train them and teach them the competencies required by the Jordanian private sector.

In the same vein, the European Union Ambassador to Jordan, María Hadjithodosio, confirmed that the Innovation Forum "will give young men and women the knowledge and tools to embark on their digital careers. It will also provide space for ambitious talents and skills that seek to discover through its VR and augmented technologies, 5G laboratory, blockchain, Internet of Things.

In turn, Youth Minister Mohamed Nabulsi noted that this project is one of the projects being offered by a company "Orange", and he is pleased with the presence of the company between the Ministry of Youth, Orange, and the European Union, with the aim of transforming some youth centres into pioneering and innovative centres. He is pleased to be present in the innovation space project funded by the European Union and the company "Orange", where the project offers an opportunity for entrepreneurial youth and the creation of a safe space to express their creative projects.

For his part, among one of the innovators in the innovation space project Omar Nimer for "Al-Anbat", he created an advantage in the Drone, a specialist in agriculture that works on detecting plant diseases at very early stages and working on treating them, such as spraying the insecticide on a particular area and the nearby talk to prevent it spreading to the rest of the farm and damaging the crop.

He explained that the plant's data is known by capturing "Drone" for images through the camera in it. It is distinguished by the plant paper and trees the type of disease that affects the plant. It worked to test the tomato plant and was able to detect more than 18 diseases based on the form of the paper. The identification of diseases comes at early stages and does not affect the crop.

It is worth mentioning that Orange Jordan and the European Union launched "Innovation Forum" is a modern digital technology destination available to young people, entrepreneurs and all interested in Orange Digital Village in Abdali, within the project "Innovation Space", a three-year programme jointly funded by the European Union through the Innovation for Enterprise Growth and Employment Programme "Innovation of Jordan", in the presence of the European Union Ambassador to Jordan, Ms. Maria Hadjithodosiou, Minister of Youth, Mohamed Salama Al-Nabulsi, Chairman of the Jordanian Telecommunications Company/Oringe Jordan, Dr. Shabib Ammari, and the Chief Executive Officer of Orange Jordan, Terrand Terry Marini, as well.

It includes 5 AI laboratories, augmented and virtual reality, blockchain, IoT and 5G, to contribute to the development of innovative youth projects and explore opportunities offered by modern technologies to enhance their career progress and leadership growth.
