Government uses the Economic and Social Council for dialogue to modernize the administrative sector

  The head of the Economic and Social Council Dr. Musa Shteiwi announced to "Al Anbat" that the council will hold a national dialogues about the administrative modernization plan for the public sector, starting from the capital Amman where it will continue from this week for three weeks, then in the following three weeks the dialogues will take place in all governorates of the Kingdom.

  He added that the council will organize three seminars in the capital, which include three main axes, which are: structuring, human resources, and services, while the same axes will be discussed in each governorate for one day.

  Shteiwi continued, that the government used the council to hold a national dialogue to discuss the administrative modernization plan for the public sector, due to its importance as a lever for the economic and political modernization paths, indicating that the dialogue will present in its general framework, the road map, raising awareness of individuals and discussing it with all relevant parties.

He pointed out that the role of the Economic and Social Council revolves around communicating with the target group of economic stakeholders, workers in national unions, in addition to provincial councils and mayors, civil society institutions, presidents, academics, and students from Jordanian universities.

  He noted that the aim of holding dialogues is to explain the road map and take points of view from target groups about their circumstances and their work, And work to take advantage of the feedback to eventually arrive at reports and recommendations, and notes for the government about what needs to be done to modernize.

  He indicated that the Economic and Social Council, whose motto is "towards empowering citizens to contribute in decision-making", is the house of community dialogue, where it holds dialogues to achieve this motto and provide the government with appropriate recommendations, and achieve the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II, which calls for the development of the public sector and activating its societal role, by the development of a sustainable, developed, and enabling public sector, qualified to assume its tasks efficiently and effectively, and to respond to the needs of citizens.

  It is worth mentioning that Public Sector Modernization Committee persists to put a comprehensive road map to progress with the public administration Strengthen the institutional approach and respond efficiently to local and global updates, and contribute effectively to achieving economic recovery, Based on the principles of excellence and accountability, linking performance to results, and promoting institutional  integration and coordination within legislative frameworks regulating public administration, and with an approach that keeps pace with the latest global developments, and seeks to improve services.
