The media spokesperson for the National Aid Fund, Najeh Sawaleha, said that the fund has been providing humanitarian services since its inception in 1986, and does not charge a penny for any service it provides.

Speaking to Jordan TV, on Sunday, Sawalha explained that fraud has spread during the previous period, as fraudsters send text messages to some citizens in order to deposit a sum of money for the purpose of opening an electronic wallet.

He referred to the many families who fell victim to these frauds, stressing that the fund was and still warns families and directs them not to fall victim to the fake pages that defraud them.

He drew attention to close cooperation between the Fund and the Cybercrime Unit in the Public Security Directorate, where they are provided with the addresses of those pages, stressing that the legal requirement is taken against anyone who attempts to defraud.

He noted that fraud attempts confuse the work of the Fund, as well as citizens who seek to improve their living conditions, but they fall victim to fraud.

He stressed that in the event of announcing any service or distributing a sum of money, it will be done through the official windows of the fund, and not through people's pages.
