UAE announces its intention to invest one billion dollars in Pakistani companies

The United Arab Emirates announced its intention to invest one billion dollars in Pakistani companies in various economic and investment sectors. 

The Emirates News Agency quoted an official source in Abu Dhabi as saying on Friday that the investment seeks to explore new opportunities and areas for cooperation in projects across various sectors to expand bilateral relations.

 The investment confirms the keenness of the UAE and Pakistan to continue cooperation in various fields, which include gas, energy infrastructure, renewable energy, health care, technology and others.
