Jordanian-Emirati-Egyptian industrial partnership meeting on Monday

The Higher Committee for the Integrated Industrial Partnership between Jordan, the UAE and Egypt will hold its first meeting in Cairo next Monday.

According to a statement issued on Saturday morning, the committee will be held under the chairmanship of the Ministers of Industry and Trade in the three countries: Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Youssef Al-Shamali, Minister of Advanced Industries in the UAE, Dr. Sultan Al-Jaber, and Minister of Industry and Trade in the Republic of Egypt, Neveen Gamea, and on its agenda many topics necessary to implement the partnership in all its fields.

The partnership aims to enhance joint food and drug security and cooperation in the fields of industry, investment, agriculture, fertilizers, textiles, minerals, petrochemicals and plastics.

Al-Shamali said that the procedures that have taken place so far since the launch of the partnership and the virtual meeting held by the ministers of industry in the three countries will be followed up, during which the partnership was governed and the higher committee was formed, as well as discussing a number of issues related to the implementation of the initiative and accelerating work for the coming period.

He added that the partnership came as a reflection of the strength of the bilateral relations between the three brotherly countries and the tireless efforts of their leadership to enhance cooperation in various fields, especially the economy, noting that the next stage will witness practical and on-the-ground steps to implement the partnership axes, which contributes to achieving sustainable economic development in various fields.
