Electronic Payment Service for Investors Launched by Jordan Industrial Estates

In a number of its industrial cities, JIEC today introduced an e-payment service for its investors. 
The service will allow industrial investors to follow up on the financial requirements of their transactions with JIEC through their bank accounts or through the application and website (eFAWATEER), facilitating them and reducing time and effort.
The service will enable industrial investors to take advantage of the completion of financial procedures for five items, including payment of water bills, payment of trade license fees, payment of sale allowances, payment of rental allowances, and any allowances required by their dealings with JIEC. 
Omar Jweaed, director general of JIEC, stated that by offering this service, the business will help by streamlining procedures for investors and     saving time and effort through direct payment. This service is part of JIEC's efforts to assist investors and to permit the use of various technical    tools to do business. 
According to the director general of JIEC, the company has always sought to use a variety of contemporary technological methods in its procedures and in keeping with various advancements as part of its efforts toward digital transformation and in accordance with the government's directives in this area. 
The 10 industrial cities that are active in the Kingdom are operated by JIEC and are located in Sahab, Al-Muwaqqar, Irbid, Al-Karak, Madaba, Al-Aqaba, Al-Mafraq, Al-Salt, Al-Tafilah, and Jerash. It consists of roughly 868 industrial businesses that operate in different industries.
