Development and Employment: The projects financed by the Fund provided 750 job opportunities for Jordanians by 2022

The Director General of the Development and Employment Fund,
Mansour Warikat, discussed with the Director of the Industrial Cities
Corporation in the Karak Governorate, Abdul Halim Al-Qarala, aspects of
cooperation between the Corporation and the Fund in order to support small and
medium enterprises in the governorate.
Werekat stressed that the job opportunities provided by the
projects supported by the Fund since the beginning of the year amounted to
about 753 job opportunities for Jordanians in the governorates.
Werekat conducted a field tour in Karak Governorate to see
opportunities to support small and medium enterprises during his visit to the
Fund's branch in the governorate, stressing the need to provide the best
services to the fund's auditors, and he also listened to citizens' comments.
During his tour, he inspected the projects funded by the
fund before the Corona pandemic, to study the possibility of supporting them in
the next stage to overcome the challenges caused by the repercussions of the
pandemic, stressing the fund's keenness on the sustainability and continuity of
these projects.
