Palestinian journalist martyred by Occupation bullets, north of Hebron

The Palestinian
Ministry of Health announced Wednesday morning that the released prisoner
Ghofran Haroun Hamed Warasna, 31 years old, was martyred by Zionist occupation
forces at the entrance to Al-Arroub camp, north of Hebron in the southern
occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian
Ministry of Health explained , in a statement, that Warasna was martyred after
being hit by a bullet that penetrated her chest from the left side (under the
armpit), and came out on the right side.
Medical sources in the
Palestinian Red Crescent reported that the occupation forces obstructed the
arrival of ambulance crews to the injured citizen until about 20 minutes later,
and she was transferred to Al-Ahli Hospital in Hebron, but medical crews were
unable to save her life.
Al-Asra media office stated
that the martyr Ghofran was arrested by the occupation for three months at the
beginning of this year, and she was liberated on the first of April.
Palestinian media
reported that Ghofran Warasna graduated from the Media Department at Hebron
University and worked as a journalist for local radio stations.
